That's what I have been asking myself since about 11:45 last night.
I should warn you before you go any further that if you have a weak stomach not to go any further. There. You've been warned.
This past Friday Grayson came down with the stomach bug that's been circulating. He was icky for about 3-4 hours then started feeling better. He was drinking Crystal Light and holding it down. I was happy he was feeling better and wanting to play. Well it was Daddy's weekend. So Daddy came and got him and I went over everything with him. He hasn't been sick since about 11:30. He's been drinking OK since 12:30! Here's a change of clothes just in case. Blah blah blah. But the most important part was NO FOOD. If he's still OK later tonight maybe some crackers, toast, or applesauce. What does he do first thing when Grayson gets in the car? Gives him chips. Now they were baked chips so they're a little better then the regular variety but still. NO FOOD.
Well I get him back yesterday and he informs me that Grayson had gotten sick that morning. So he's been OK the rest of the day so I figure it's this thing Grayson does where if he eats too soon in the morning he gets icky. Mainly milk to early does it to him. So he'd already eaten dinner at his Dad's so I just let him have a Gogurt and then we went on to bed.
I was actually asleep by 10. Both of us were. Well he was in there in the room with me and at 11:45 I'm woken up to him crying and my back feels funny. I'm disoriented and don't really know what's going on. I look over at him and he was like a freaking fountain. I jump up grab him and run him to the bathroom. Yep! Getting sick again. And I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Yeah! All over my back. So I get him ok in the bathroom and go change shirts. I come back from the laundry room to find him laying across my bed. Hello? Do you see the mess on the bed?
Then you guessed it. He started crying again which meant more was coming. I rush him to the bathroom. Well he didn't make it. All over the bathroom! YUCK YUCK YUCK. He finishes and I strip him down and put him in the tub and begin cleaning the bathroom again. I leave him in the tub and head to the laundry room to start the laundry.
OK. Whoo...comforter, pillow cases, my shirt, his shirt all in the laundry. I go to find him laying in the bathtub just grinning up at me like nothings wrong. Argh. I get him cleaned up, out dressed and set up on the floor with towels everywhere. I then tackle the bed. Disinfecting it and getting it all cleaned up was easier then I thought. Most of it luckily was on the comforter. Which was about to start it's 2nd cycle through the washer with hot water.
I then take my shower get all clean and finally get in bed around 2. OK. He's sleeping soundly. Crisis over. I wake up to him crying. Now it's coming out the other end! Argh!
So back to the bathroom. He gets a shower, which means I get a shower. While he stands in the warm water I go and put everything from the 2 cycles in the washer into the dryer. And add the rest of the stuff that he tainted the night before. I think we're OK now. He's had 2 pieces of dry toast and 2 cups of Crystal Light! Nothing but toast and Crystal Light until tomorrow.
So that's my lovely last couple of days with a small rest in between! LOL

What part of "No Food" is so hard to understand?

The Beautiful Wonderful Internet!
I know that most everyone on here knows the evils of the DPS Office. My only good experiences are restricted to getting my license renewed once 6 years ago and that's it. I have always had horrible experiences with them.
When I got my permit in the summer of 95 everything went smoothly. Then I hadn't had that for long before I finished drivers school and went to get my license. Well for some unknown reason I wasn't in the system. So they had to issue me a hand written license. This was literally like a doctors prescription pad. They just filled in the info on the pad that was needed, tore it off and handed me my license. Well this was in August of 95. I then had to go in every month and have that renewed. They didn't get everything worked out until December. Joy. So then it has to be renewed every birthday until I turn 18. My birthday is in January. Argh. Oh well.
Well then every year was ok, justlong lines. Then after I turned 18 it wouldn't be until 4 years later that I would need to venture into one of those offices right? Wrong! I had to go 3 times between 18 and 22 because that would be how many times my wallet was stolen.
ThenI get it at 22. That was easy and I've had the same license since then. I still wasn't looking forward to renewing it this time. Well my sis needed to renew hers too and she was looking on the internet to do this.
I did a happy dance of ultimate joy when she told me that I could renew online! Whoo Hoo!
I entered some info off my license, confirmed the info on the license was right and paid for it! It cost $25. There was a processing fee. But I would pay it any day to avoid actually going to the office!
So Whoo Hoo! When I have to get my next renewal, at the age of *gasp 34, I will have a pic from my twenties on there. LOL
I got my license in the mail about 20 days after processing everything online, they give you a receipt to print off to keep with your picture license until you get the permanent one in the mail. It was the nicest license renewal experience ever and I am thrilled! Whoo Hoo!

Blah Blah Blah!
I just feel like living up to the title of my blog. I feel like rambling. Let's see. Grayson is good. Being a bit of a toot but what's new there. Oh.....he got new shoes. And he couldn't be more thrilled.
We were in Wal Mart Friday night and I always glance through because of the great clearance sales that they have at the Wal Mart that I go to. It's the new on on 2978. Well anyway anytime I'm in a store and see something Cars I try to run by as quickly as possible or Grayson will most likely end up with it. So what should my eyes settle on about a millisecond after his did? A pair of Disney Pixar Cars shoes. He immediately starts asking for them. And I don't mean the bratty whining for something that he wants. He's saying, "Mommy? Can I have those Cars shoes Please?"
I mean how can you resist that? He isn't begging for candy, or a toy or a movie. He wants shoes. And he's being so sweet. And earlier in the night we were at Best Buy and he wanted to see something and I let him look at it knowing he wouldn't be getting it. Well I took it away to put it back and he didn't ask for it back or anything. Just said Thank You and went on his way.
So back to the original story. I got the right size and tried them on his little feet. They fit and he was absolutely thrilled. So he got his Cars shoes. Anytime we're anywhere he's yelling at people to come and look at his shoes. You would think that he'd gotten a new car or something. LOL
So there's my Mommy brag for the day. The tale of my sweet little Bug and how politely he conned me out of shoes.
And the urge to ramble is gone. TTFN

Nothing much new!
There's not much new going on around here.
I'm addicted to ab exercises! LOL Rene and I were playing around on her puter yesterday because she's recently replaced parts to make her puter run better. Well I decided I would play around with the stability ball instead of just laying there. Good right? Well I'm addicted to the burn. LOL I did my 2 sets of jack knife crunches and then I wanted to do more. So I did some bridge ups on the ball. LOL Yeah I ended up doing yet another 2 sets of jack knife crunches. Then later that night Grayson was in the tub and I was in the living room doing another 4-6 sets of jackknife crunches and 2 more sets of the bridge ups! I know. Give it a rest. But I'm addicted to the burn. I love walking around and feeling that burn and knowing that I worked hard and did that!
I am going to be so hot!
Grayson's Latest Milestone!
Grayson has hit yet another milestone. Tears.......
HE'S SHAVING!
As you can see this is something that was absolutely necessary ;)!!!
Well that's all for now. More to come later! Stay tuned!

Why Why Why?
I really don't get it. I'm in Grayson's room cleaning today. I'm vacuuming and cleaning the carpet and just giving it that cleaning that it doesn't get everyday. So I have him running around the room picking up whatever he may have missed to insure that I don't vacuum it up. He asks me what I'm doing.
"I'm cleaning." He goes about his business picking up whatever I holler at him over the vacuum to pick up.
"What are you doing Mommy?"
I'm cleaning Grayson." Again he goes about helping with the deep cleaning.
"What are you doing Mommy?"
I'm more specific this time.
"I'm vacuuming the floor Grayson." He runs out of the room. For what reason I'm not sure. He could be going potty or throwing some trash away or flying to Jupiter. I'm not really sure. But alas........
"What are you doing Mommy?"
Argh.......So I told him yet again that I was cleaning his room and vacuuming the floor and I get a blank stare. Why do kids do this? Is there some gap in the little receptors that take the information that we give them to the short term part of the memory so that they just don't ever remember a word you say? I mean seriously. Wasn't I clear each and every single time that I told him what it was that I was doing? I must tell you that I told him each and every move that I was making every single time I changed activities.
If anyone knows the cure for this please let me know.
Site Recommendation
Who isn't always looking to save a little money? Well I certainly can't say that I'm not one of them.
I've recently stumbled upon Insurance Portal Online. With this site you submit for information on 3 types of insurance that are all important to all of us. Life, Auto and Homeowners policies. The site is clear and concise and easy to navigate.
When you first go to Insurance Portal Online there are 3 options that are very easy to find and get information about. Just click on the brightly colored button that pertains to the type of insurance that you would like information on and your taken to a short form. Simply fill out the short form with minimal information and you're done. You're then contacted by an agent shortly thereafter and they will match you with the companies that suit you best.
That's another good thing. Insurance Portal Online works with more then 140 companies for life insurance alone. They also offer a range of products depending on your personal needs in all of the policies they offer, whether it be a life, auto or home.
One more thing and I'll stop going on. Insurance Portal Online is a small company. Not a huge conglomerate where you're constantly dealing with impersonal people where you constantly have to retell your story. You can get to know the customer service representative your working with and know that you're getting great customer service.
So go check it out. That's Insurance Portal Online.
I Lost Another Button Hole Mommy!
My Bug is always coming up with inventive ways to tell me how he's feeling or the things that he's done.
When he's tired he'll tell me that his batteries are getting low.
Well he recently came out from a bath all fresh and clean and dressed in his Spider Man Baseball shirt. He loves this shirt and wears it often. Well we were at Aunt Rene's house and she looks at him and asks, "Who buttoned your shirt?"
" I did!" was his reply. This brings about many giggles from myself and anyone else in the room. The top left collar was folded under and the bottom right side had a helpless button hole hanging by itself looking quite lonely without it's button. "I lost another button hole Mommy!"
Well you can imagine the giggles that this brought. So cute. So I brought him over and unfolded his collar and showed him the button. I then set about unbuttoning his shirt and buttoning it correctly. This made him happy and he went on his way.
Don't you wish that you were still that innocent and it was just lost and not wildly annoying that you misbuttoned your shirt?
